Well it may not be much, but it is my first view of the Grand Canyon. I don't think anybody's first (or last or anywhere in between) shot could ever measure up to the experience of taking in the view for the first time. I've seen some spectacular images made there, but I still don't think any of them measures up to the absolutely awesome feeling one gets when one looks out over the canyon for the first time. "Grand" hardly seems adequate to describe the place...it goes so much beyond that!
