These are the shots from the cruise that I took with my "adopted" family to Alaska. In one week, I took more than 1500 images, so it's been a bit of a challenge trying to cull that down to something manageable.

I had a fantastic time, but in retrospect, trying to see Alaska in one week has to be akin to trying to see the whole of the Smithsonian in an hour. It is simply a monstrously big place with many, many different personalities.

It may take me awhile to get all of these shots uploaded. Lately I've been lumping my PBase uploads into a single ZIP file and uploading the pictures without comment. I feel that these shots deserve some commentary explaining a little bit about what is going on, so I plan to upload them one at a time and posting my thoughts as I do. With the huge number of images involved, that may take awhile, so please bear with me and check back often to see what's new.
