Excellent work! Voted.
Excellent gallery.. I like the flight shots the best, but all of them show lots of time and talent.. V
Skhin. Thanks for our interest. Without giving away too many of my secrets I will admit that some of these photos are cropped. Some are not, the Chickadee pics are all full frame as they are very tame and come quite close when they get used to you being around. Also some, but not all, the Woodpecker, Redpoll, and Nuthatch shots are FF. I am seriously looking at extending my reach with a new prime - having a head problem with the cost though. Cheers, Dave.
For many this lens does not offer quite the ideal reach for small birds but apparently you've done quite well with it. Were you quite close to the birds?
Dan, thanks for leaving your comment, I appreciate you taking the time to do so. Dave.
Dave I enjoyed seeing your pictures especially the spotted sandpiper. I also appreciate your effort at describing the hardware used to capture the shots.
Thanks Dave, I was not too pleaed technically with the shots, a faster shutter speed may have helped. Sometines the subject matter overcomes those sort of details and it is more important to catch the moment - this was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity!
Dave. Great pictures, especially those of the Osprey carrying a fish to its Riel nesting site. Timing is everything.

Very nice gallery, Dave. Good, clean, crisp photos!
Thanks Terry, I have now distributed most of them into the Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park folder, some are in the Photo Mix folder as they were taken in my backyard. Dave.
Some great photos here Dave. A very good gallery!
