A tribute to Elke Blodgett, artist, environmentalist, activist, and a good friend who has had a small portion of the reclaimed wetland near Big Lake named after her by the City of St Albert. This is a selection of photographs taken on,from, or my camera pointed towards, the peninsula.

Absolutley fantastic pictures. I am espeically partial to the few shots of the Blue Heron. We live close to the river on the east side of St. albert and only say one Heron this season. I'll need to wander west more frequently next summer thanks for posting these and for honouring Elke
