From October 15 to 25, 2004, my family friend, Kendall and I travelled to Egypt for vacation. We went mostly with our fun-loving Contiki tour group led by Brett and Amadeus. There were 17 of us in our group and all of us got to really know each other. On the last day, we and Jim took a day trip to Alexandria on our own. We had lots of fun learning about what life was like in Ancient Egypt and also hanging around with our new friends in our group.

Going to Egypt was the first time I set foot on Africa, which was the 5th continent I set foot on in my entire life. As a history buff, I had an excellent trip.
