A rangefinder camera is a very different way to work than a machine-gun, auto-everything Canon/Nikon DSLR. The focus is manual, the exposure is only center-weighted averaging. The shutter is cocked using a rewind lever. This slows you down, makes you think, and at the same time makes the camera less important than the composition. It's a nice alternative way to shoot.
