What a blast from the past. What a pleasure to actually see the driver and not have him hidden by a mass of sheet metal.. Saw my first race at Shangri-La Speedway in Owego, NY in 1947.

I started going to Races when I was 5 years old, My Uncle was Leonard Faas Sr. and My Cousin is Len Faas Jr.(Cary Faas is his son and My Cousin). Uncle leonard started running midgets at Balboa speedway back in 1946. I have been around this my whole life and I am looking for Photographs of our familys cars through the years of 1946-1984. They somehow have been passed over for the hall of fame even though they teamed with J.C. Agajanian. Please email me if you have some photos so we may talk business,I would like to finish my Racing room with as much as I can get. Thes pictures are awsome and I would really like to see some family.

The photos are awesome! My dad and I are in the process of restoring his old NCRA supermodified from the 70's and plan to do an old late 60's CAE sprint copy that we have after we're done with his. Seeing those old cars really gets my blood flowing! I especially like the 98 and the 78. Do you know what kind of wheels are on the 78? Please let me know!
