Splendida galleria sulla Sardegna.
Complimenti per la bravura nel cogliere momenti particolari.
Beautiful and sympathetic images of the land of my ancestors.
Grazie per le belle emozioni.
Great atmoshepere and use of colors! Bravo!
I lived in Sardinia for nearly four years and your collection really captures the beauty of the island. Nice job.
Your photos of Sardegna are beautiful
The best Sardegna gallery I found! I was in Fluminimaggiore in April an also took a lot of pictures but yours clearly showed my limitations. Still a lot to learn for me ;-)
Hi Sean, your gallery is truly wonderful! All images are very well thought off... spectacular! I'd pay a visit to Sardinia myself some day *thumbsup* Menno
Had a wonder through your pages and there is some fine work.
Please drop around to my site when you get time.
Very, very tasteful gallery containing images which are literally all taken with great care.
Brilliant gallery, Sean!
Great work as ever!
Kind regards, Chris
This is a truly impressive gallery. You have an outstanding eye for evocative composition. The mood conveyed in these images is marvelous. You certainly have talent.
Great pics from where I was born! You probably travelled accross the Island more than I ever did. Beautiful view from inside the nuraghe.
Sardinia is quite a large island-- second largest in the Mediterranean, in fact. So I guess the best answer to your question would be: there are many, many markets :) The images you see are from dozens of different towns...
What a LOVELY place!!!
Hilling and high density in heart, surrounded by various nature: wild flower grass land, continuous mountains, vast ocean, silent river ... do all these link to the calm and somehow secret ambience of the town?
By the way, where is the market?
Thanks VERY MUCH for sharing! !o!
Great images of a beautiful island.
a great visual story that tells so much about Sardinia, both in it's unique landscapes and people. I enjoyed the vist very much. Thanks for sharing
Yes, I love the change of pace; it's like a watching a skilful dancer. Each turn offers a new perspective, and a fresh interpretation of a familiar format. What impresses me in particular is the care and attention you apply (as standard) to your images. It is evident not only in the 'slower' subjects (landscapes), but also in the 'rapid-response' (people) ones. This attitude extends also to your editing process, creating an engaging story told in high quality reportage.
Sean, this is among the most varied and substantive galleries of travel photos on pbase -- no two images say the same thing, and we are constantly surprised at each turn of the page. You manage somehow to give us a sense of place with each image, and your people shots are marvelous -- the most striking Italian portraits I've seen posted here since Lisa Haskins took Rome by storm at
Quite a sumptuous and beautiful gallery! You have brought forth a a delightful insightful and wonderful body of work on this place.
What a fantastic tour of Sardinia! Each photo is more amazing than the last. And your people shots are great!
Just makes me want to pack my bags!
