Spicebush Swallowtail on Horsemint in Filtered Light

I think a good butterfly picture consists of three things. A great flower, a "fresh" butterfly, and ideally great light. This one has all 3. I could see the very soft filtered light on this flower so I just waited and got lucky.

I much prefer to take pictures of butterflies in flight, but this hanging pose is pretty good and seems to resonate with the shape of the roundish flower. I love the colors.
