This past Saturday, August 23rd, members and future members of the Connecticut-Westchester Mycological Association (COMA) visited the grounds of Tallman Mountain State Park. Leader of the walk was George Johanson, known for his knowledge of mushrooms as well as edible wild plants. Unfortunately I was not able to attend, but friend, mycologist and fellow COMA member, ROZ LOWEN, e-mailed me a list of fungi found and some original photos.
