COMA offers several presentaions a year that are free to both members and the public. In the past, our cooking presentations have been among the most popular and this one with author Amy Farges was no exception. Amy is author of The Mushroom Lover’s Mushroom Cookbook and Primer. While cooking up several recipes, she led a lively culinary discussion focusing on the nuances of fresh, dried, frozen, and powdered mushrooms – how to select, store, and prepare them to their best advantage. The talk was followed by tastings which were exquisite! Everyone was so impressed and inspired by Amy's mastery of mushroom cookery as well as her friendly manner that they bought up all the copies of her books that she brought to the meeting.
