Photo IDs of the horses and information about the Piceance/East Douglas HMA and surrounding areas including North Douglas HA, West Douglas HA and outside. Also photo galleries of wildflowers, wildlife, insects and other flora and fauna seen in or near the HMA and HAs.
This is a multi-use range with wild horses, livestock, wildlife, hunting and energy development. This range is composed of pinon-juniper woodlands, mountain shrub, sagebrush and pockets of Douglas Fir and Aspen. Elevations vary from 5,600 to 8,700 feet.

Weber's Colorado Flora Western Slope and the interactive CD Flora ID Northwest from XID Services. I am not a botanist and any help with ids is welcome.
