May 9: We head out for Vermont. Lorelei says, "NO! Papa! When he tries to place his hat on her head! |
Just outside Fryeburg, there's a lovely swamps! Can swamps be lovely? YES! |
Then we stop at the Swift River going through the White Mountains and.... |
....Lorelei enjoys the feel of sand on bare feet... |
...and demonstrates her ballerina stance. |
Papa points out a stick floating in the water and,,.... |
....Mom tries to help her see it. |
Then it's time to walk back to the car and go to the peaks where ..... |
....there is a glorious view of the whole mountain range! |

May 10: It's a glorious morning with bright sunshine and Gail's barn .... |

As does her pond and out back... |
....spring has sprung! |

While inside, we get ready for Bev's service. |
And wait patiently for time to leave. |
After the service, we go into town to.... |
...enjoy the apple blossoms in front of City Hall. |

May 11: Gail fries bacon and eggs...Yummmmmmm! |
Then she takes us on a tour of.... |
....the barn with guided narrative. |
Milk pail and bike...storage. |
Then out back, we meet... |

.....meet, greet and talk....while, down the hillside, |
trees are blossoming and the view is gorgeous! |

May 11: Mother's Day and Gail helped Lorelei pick some Daffs.... |
....to give to her Mom for Mother's Day. |

And she picks dandelions at Morse Farm with maple creemie in one hand. |
Then along the way, we stop in Bretton Woods where.... |
....Lorelei is interested in climbing the rocks. |
Then at North Conway Lorelei tries out the bear chair. |
And jumps sidewalk cracks...don't break your mother's back!! |
And we stop for Mother's Day lunch. |
As we arrive in Portland, the daffs have seen better times and.... |
...Papa helps Lorelei find her things in the back of the van...time to head to Auburn! |

May 15: We head to Belfast to visit with Butch and a trip to old 'stomping grounds' seems.... |
