Pablo Picasso
1881 - 1973

Considered the most influential artist of the 20th century. He was mainly known for his paintings, but he was a pioneer in the expansion of modern sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and collage art. His painting covered everything from Impressionism to Cubism. He was the real source for the Cubism movement into the 20th century. Illustrated above is one of his earlier works that resembled the Impression art form.
