October 25, 2012 Dan Wyman

Our boat driver/tour guide in Venice, Tomas, recently purchased a Sigma lens for his Nikon and asked me to shoot with it. I readily obliged him. Apparently, Tomas wasn't certain he was going to keep it. He didn't have the lens with him but took us to the island of Murano, where he retrieved it. I got this shot on the water somewhere between Murano and Burano. Tomas seemed satisfied with the shot and some others that I took with the Sigma. It's a heavy lens but fun to use, and focuses down to one meter.
