Big Horn Sheep of Anza-Borrego Desert

It was a thrill to see these sheep in the wild. I was hoping to get a glimpse of them but had no idea that I would see an entire herd.

There were 20-30 of these beautiful animals. I saw just a few at first, but more kept arriving to drink and graze. Although these sheep are wild, they allowed me to get close to them. Evidently, they are used to seeing people.

Flowers were less plentiful this year, due to limited rainfall, but could be found if one searched for them.
