A pair is nesting not far from here
If you look closely in the lower right, in the fork of the tree branches, you can see the nest

I believe that is the male in the branches in the upper left

If there are chicks in the nest then that's the female. After the chicks hatch the male hunts all day and she stands watch outside the nest waiting for him to return with food. Is this a photo of two views of the same eagle? or two eagles? If it's two, and one is in the nest, then that probably is the male. That EF 28-135 is doing a good job for you.

They have been taken off of the endangered and threatened species list... ... if we are lucky maybe the same thing will happen to humans. Wonderful shots.
