28 JAN 05 FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS

He has been working at the clinic off and on for better than ten years
He is a First Class Dentalman in the Navy Reserve
The Central Sterilization Room has been his responsibity for the last several years

He is the type of person who, as one dentist put it, you know when he is in there working . . .
And you DEFINITELY know when he's NOT the one in there working . . . .
He has a way of making things run smoooooth as silk

HE will be SOOOOO missed

"Fair Winds and Following Seas" to you Mr Adams

Bless You =]

I just can't fathom how this place I work for is shooting itself in the foot
(Or actually some place more poignant, but I won't print it here)

Sepia'd in PS
On a second layer, I added a slight gaussian blur
Then erased out the eyes and some other details to add subtle sharpness (ala Angela)
Merged layers and added a slight diffuse glow with a touch more graininess (ala jude mc)

things were popping up out of the ground this time last year

I think the bell curve is very much present when organizations create surroundings in which many people leave, that is, I believe that a number of want-to-get-rid-of-anyway people leave . . . and unfortunately some of the best paople leve as well . . .and the organization is left with a whole lot of middle-of-the-roadies . . there's a social statement there somewhere =p

Nice tribute and photo. I, too, believe in paying tribute to people while they are still alive.

Wonderful tribute Pete. How sad a screwed up organization can drive the good ones away. And, in my consulting experience, way too many organizations are screwed up!

Truly awesome portrait, Pete! The tones are rich and wonderful. He sounds like a helluva guy.
