Releasing a juvenile bald eagle back in to the wild after rehabilitation.

The young eagle had been found in York county next to its parent who died from pesticide poisoning.
The eaglet was detox'd,nursed back to health, helped to learn to hunt for itself, & then released along the James River near a large population of resident bald eagles.

The biologist hoisted the bird high into the sky and she took off for the treeline.
