After nearly 100 years in business the Willowdell Sales Company closed its doors. An auction was held September 14, 2010 to liquidate all remaining assets. Over the years Willowdell Sales was a Ford Dealer, Chevrolet Dealer and finally an Oldsmobile Dealer.
They also where dealers of Oliver Tractors, Fordson Tractors, New Idea Equipment and John Deere Equipment.
They were best known for being a Dealer for Oldsmobile and John Deere. It may have seemed like an unusual combination but it was highly successful. Unfortunately in 2005 General Motors discontinued the Oldsmobile line. Less than 6 months later John Deere terminated their long business relationship with Willowdell Sales.
Willowdell Sales continued on by adding the Mahindra Tractor line and Toro Lawn and Garden Line. The severe economic downturn, especially after late 2008 was just too much to overcome and it became necessary to close the business.
Willowdell Sales would like to thank all of their loyal customers for their years of business.
Willowdell Sales was located in Darke County, Ohio in the small village of Willowdell.
