Monasteries and Temples

There are more than 600 temples and monasteries in Hong Kong. They are homes to three different religions: Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. These religions are part and parcel of the Hong Kong’s culture.

The history of some of these temples / monasteries can be traced back to hundreds years ago, while some others have been built in recent years.

I would like to thank Walter O. Koenig for his great idea. He suggested me to add a gallery that shows the world the monasteries and temples in Hong Kong.

I would also like to thank Raymond for suggesting me to capture pictures of Chinese culture.
