The background of this picture is a piece of glass placed horizontally
and covered with a piece of matt black paper.

I cut a rectangular hole on the paper and then put the pepper right above the hole.
An SB-800 flash unit was positioned below the glass; its light passed through the hole,
hit on the bottom of the pepper and produced the glowing effect.

The details of the pepper were outlined by an SBR-200 flash unit fixed above it.
