A Glowing Tulip

An SB-800 flash unit was covered by a black paper cone and
pointed directly to the centre of the flower from the top.

A small SBR-200 was fixed at the bottom of the flower to illuminate the pedicel.

Spring... that's the first thing that came to my mind. Here, the tulip represents spring as in the fall, before the soil freezes, we plant the tulip's bulbs. When the snow melts after a long winter and that the soil warms up enough for the flowers to regain their growing, the tulip is among the first 2 or 3 to come out. When that happens, we know that spring has arrived.
This image is stunning, the colors are perfect, the presentation is spectacular, the frame is very beautiful... this is definatly another grand winner CM... you're on a real streak as we say here... Very well done, outstanding.
