Feng Shui Door

Ling Tu Monastery, Hong Kong view map

In traditional Chinese architectural design,
it is uncommon to see the main entrance is built at the side of the building.

The entrance was moved to the current position in 1840
in order to improve the Feng Shui of the monastery and the nearby villages.

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics
to help one improve life by receiving positive energy flow.

Fascinating that the entry was moved. We should be paying much more attention to Feng Shui in our own lives. Very nice composition. I like the point of view. "V"
