In the heat of the summer is when you find the golden silk spider in great number along the mangrove creeks of Biscayne Bay. This is one of my favorite subjects and for the past few years, I've been on mission to photograph this awesome spider. All photos you see here were captured from my canoe as I anchored and positioned the boat under a spider. With each photograph, I attempt to capture the spider with a clear background and in lighting that will bring out its beauty.
