Wow! The pictures were very impressive! Although we've been to most of these places, your photos gave more life and brought back pleasant memories. I wish I can take great pictures like you ( wish ko lang....)I showed this gallery to my kids and they were very impressed and are now again planning on where to go in our next visit this December. Your pictures truly depict the beauty of the Philippine Islands. As an Ilokana born in the United States, my parents have taken me to the islands throughout my single years in order to understand my heritage, and to never forget my cultural roots. As a result, I have developed a great passion for the Islands; it has become a love in my heart. It is with no wonder that I even married a traditional Filipino gentleman from my parent's hometown, Laoag City. My family and I have vacationed to the Philippines a few times and our sons adore their motherland to the point of never wanting to leave. There is still more to explore and, God willing, we will have the opportunity of discovering and learning more about the islands. j.m. lucas

I really enjoyed your pictures. I just returned from the Philippines after a twenty year absence. Now, I can't wait to go back. Would'nt it be nice if every Filipino returning to the Philippines has a project like planting trees and flowers. I do miss the flowers I grew up with in the Philippines. There are less flowers now. Where are the kalachuchi and the sampaguita? Where are the rosal? The Philippines need more trees and flowers, population management, family enhancements, and more activities for the Filipinos to do - they seem to have nothing to do and just sit on benches by the road and look at cars go by. They should be busy with their hands producing crafts like banig or baskets to sell at malls for Filipinos who live outside of the Philippines. Thank you again for the pictures. May be you should include the houses that most people live in - the ones that are almost falling apart - just for reality check. MDe Guman

I just wanted to thankyou for letting me see my country at its finest. I am 20 years old and I have been in America since I was four because of the eruption of Mt. Penatubo and haven't been back since. My father was in the military so we lived wealthy but all I could remember as a child was the poverty around me. That was something I wasn't proud to say I was from but it's been 16 years now I am proud to know my background. Thankyou
