I had about 20 minutes between work and the arrival of the rain, so, I stopped the old standby, finch hollow nature center, to get some shots. I don't know if it's because it's been so wet, but the queen anne's lace is everywhere this summer.

Butterflies love queen anne's lace so there should be plenty of them as well...I like to photograph this roadside beauty when it hasn't fully opened..

I have a whole yard full of this, and will for sure be one of my PAD's on a day that I just can't find anything else, I am doomed come winter, LOL.

I like this viewpoint on it.. lots of green with that lace. We have tons of it as well
