Lots of websites are going black to stop SOPA and PIPA today. I think these laws overreach their intended goals by giving too much power to the US federal government, and "private parties," which really isn't defined. I am in favor of protecting so-called "intellectual properties," but not at the cost of an open internet. There has to be simpler and less totalitarian ways to do it..
