Getting into the Halloween mood. This is from the weekend, thankfully it's not the hotel we stayed in...

This is known as the Tanamera Bungalow because it was used in the 1984 film Tanamera. (Bungalows in Singapore aren't necessarily on one level, they can have up to about 5 storeys). This one's on Sentosa, a holiday island to the south of Singapore close to the Sentosa Resort Hotel. The whole island is starting to undergo a regeneration intended to almost double its tourist numbers within a few years. The development of this building (built in the 1930's) into a hotel should be sympathetic, maintaining some of the rainforest surroundings - according to a Straits Times article.

Fantasic detail, Stuart. Wonderfully moody. Go on, climb in - I dare you! (he said from the comfort of being far away).

Great shot - love that overgrown look, so much of this is disappearing fast. Where is this?

Well where IS this place? ;)

Angela, you'd better get in there fast - the word is this beautiful building is going to be converted to a 6 star hotel. It will no longer be scary - except for the price maybe :-)

*I'D* stay there in a heartbeat! I'm always up for a good scare!
