The red and white ribbon indicates this Rain Tree will be cut down. Every other tree in sight also has a ribbon. I don't yet know yet what development will replace the trees; whether it will be a road or a building.

Nov 8th. The development turns out to be the new Circle Line of the MRT (Underground Train).
This will become the new station at the National University Hospital.
