Peregrine - adult female
This magnificent female Peregrine was released by Andy Christie MBE of the Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Trust on 24th January 2006, it had flown in to an office window in Glasgow City Centre and was considered well enough to release. Because Peregrine's regularly perch on the Finnieston Crane at the SECC they thought that would be the best place to release it.

Guillemot - adult winter
This bird turned up on the River Clyde near the Bell's Bridge at the SECC, Glasgow. They are scarce inland but are sometimes blown in by gales or driven by hunger when there are food shortages at sea.

Peregrine - adult female
This female bird was sitting on top of the Finnieston Crane on 14th February 2002, birds regularly perch there through the winter.
If you are ever attending an event or just passing by, it's always worth a look to see if one of these magnificant birds is perched there.
