This is our annual hiking trip. This year we picked the 14,497 FT tall Mt.Whitney, the tallest summit in the lower 48 states. We also made a side trip to Badwater, Death Valley National Park, coming from the highest point to the lowest point of the country within few days was pretty cool, actually pretty hot, it was 120 degree F when we got to Badwater Basin. Then we spent a night in Las Vegas, had a big dinner, got a good night of sleep, then drove to Zion National Park, the Zion trip was not planned, we just wanted to stop by there to check it out so we can plan our next hiking trip, therefore I don't have whole a lot of pictures from Death Valley and Zion this time.
