I travelled in Northern India in 2004 going from the Sources of the Ganges to the Calcutta. I travelled Bihar doing so then went to Orissa. The pictures in this set are from those two Indian states.

Claude, your galllery is a pure joy to look at... It's like having India right at my home. Love your Varanasi shots - did you know that Varanasi is quite famous for wrestling? I saw men, young and old, practicing near the ghats and I think it would also be a nice photo opportunity for you to explore (if you're still in Varanasi, that's it). Take care, joanna

Liked all of them, they all had a story telling approach which is my fav. too One comment I wanted to share was I felt most of the shots were very tight, it could have been better. Good job overall. Keep Shooting!

Hi Claude, First of all, good to see that you are doing well. I'm sure you are having some great food too, besides a good time and taking great pictures ;) The pictures are all very beautifull Claude. There are some i preffer, like "Uttarkashi - Kid cleaning". That one just made me smile. "Bijnor-cremation-vue. & Bijnor-cremation" are especially great as a pair since they awake strong emotions. Hard to pic a favorite here Claude, all great.
