You got me like so many people below.....and that's hard to do as i'm a critical git! Just love the lines, the cleanliness of your images, the lack of complication - beauty from and in the simplest things, the white balance, and how you make the viewer involved with the subject as the 'guest' below eloquently describes. Are you freelance in HK or with a studio/agency?

in fact ...i don't no who u r .the reason i click in here cos of the link in danceart .i'd like to c some of my teachers photos...but the most impressed thing is not the dance photos.i think the photo essay is the best esp i love ::The last hour of a 30 years noodle shop -- Ho Kee "and the " A Old Tailor in A Old Corner ".they r all very very beautiful although they didn't hv a beautiful face like the modols.i love the feeling of them v much.hope to c more inside stories of your wonderful capture.

woo...what a good job! under the same sky but we are looking all the things around us in a different way, I've been UK / Taiwan quite for a few times but never took a photo as you did. you must take a lot of time to do this web, collect & re-arrange all these photos... After reviewed your "shoot on walk", i found blk/white photos are pretty good stuff though. Personally, i love the studio album (specially Raymond's photos, i'm a kind of his fans, ha ha, ha,) also, shoot on walk, shoot on trip, silvio & alternatif, food & restaruant album. Jus wanna comment on the pics u took in Beyond's 05 concert. It's a compliment actually. I've browsed through numerous photos taken during this concert which I've acquired through other sources. However, none of those pictures were as candid as yours. Whilst other photographers focus monotonously on the 'glam' of the subjects or the whole show itself, your photos exudes more depth, more live, more exuberance, that is to say. Your photos really revive my memory of the concert again. Thank you.

Why take black and white photos? I know you can prevent a brightly colored objects to dominate a photo, if you take the photo in black and white. When everything in a different shades of gray, nothing in the photo jumps out at you. Everything in the photos get equal attention.

Dear Jessie, I produce a bi-monthly magazine here in Hong Kong called The Alternative which contains written articles and photography by people living here. I am interested in possibly using one of your images, particularly the one on your website in the dance/ambiguity section entitled DSC_6517.jpg. I finance this magazine myself and have a little advertising to reduce my costs. I then distribute this around bars and restaurants and arts centres in Hong Kong free of charge, I therefore make no profit from this, in fact it costs me money every time. I will not be able to pay you for this use of material but will certainly attribute this to your good self and mention your website also.
