They seem to prefer razor wire as their perches. Wonderful detail in the bird, nice action with the beak opened for his son and a smooth, if though a bit too white;-) background...
Classic! Bird book perfect! Tones are perfection throughout. All that and then throw into the mix the emotional significance of a barb wire fence designed to cut into the flesh of any attempting trespass.
