Red-tailed Hawk (Leucistic)

Arizona

Best viewed in Original
My friend Sam tells me they call this Franks white chicken.
When frank found it, it was pecking around on the ground.
This was taken on a dark cloudy day, so not the best with this slow shutter speed.

Having photographed several bird and animal species with leucitic characteristics, we might wonder what's going on with this mutation - - very nice capture

Fantastic in flight shot Tom even with the slow shutter speed.
Nicely done considering the handicap.
