A excellent capture of this soggy Falcon, Tom.

Very nice capture under the circumstances, Tom. The tides were very low in the PMs last weekend(meaning few Dunlin), the weather was pathetic, and the flooding has severely reduced the number of raptors up there. We still have a month before they leave.

Welcome to the wet West Side of the mountains! Sharp and perfectly exposed shot. Hope you got to see the Short-eared Owls in Fir Island as well.

Hi Tom, this afternoon I watch a Documentary on a Peregrine Falcon I was amazed to learn. The peregrine falcon is perhaps the fastest animal on earth. In a stoop, or dive, the peregrine has been clocked at speeds of over 180 miles per hour... voted
