Yarrow barn

...continuing with my obsession with red barns which are in
abundance here in the Fraser Valley - this one was taken just
outside the tiny community of 'Yarrow' yesterday on our bike ride,
with the very portable Canon S50.

I wish the little brown horse in the background hadn't been so shy
and had come forward a little to balance off the shot :o)

My previous PaD "barn shots" are here and
here.

** I just noticed, to add to my "dumb settings" list, after I looked at the shooting settings display that I took this landscape on a clear bright day, _with flash_!
Oh brother... Point and Shoot! :o)

Beautiful picture. The barn and the scenery behind are fabulous.

Good composition Cliff. The boat adds a little interest to this scene as well.

So idyllic. Well done. I gather barns around North America are disappearing.

I too love red barns.
This is a great shot of not only a nice barn, but a beautiful scene altogether.
Nicely captured.

What an excellent shot! I agree about he pony but did not notice until you pointed him out.
I think the flash was almost too much though. Any stronger and you would have blown out the bar roof! ;-)

This is lovely. The first red barn is still my favorite, but I lke how you offset this barn and how the hill rises behind it.
