The Final Pull

Back to the archives today, with an image I’m quite proud of.

It actually dates back to April 12 2004, and I submitted it in the ‘Strength’ challenge organised by
DP Challenge . I was really pleased that it came second in that week’s contest, winning a ‘virtual’ Red Ribbon.

The link to my entry is HERE

Really excellent capture. I remember it from DPC and really liked it at that time too. Congrats on the ribbon. Well deserved.

Brilliantly done, Ray. I love the way you squashed them into the frame, underscoring the subject and the toning and depth is perfect. Looks like nostalgia for olde Englande.
