January 18 2005:
Jacob’s Well

To celebrate the new millennium, many cities, towns and villages in the UK have commissioned new works of public art. Much of the funding for these pieces comes from the National Lottery, which only started selling its Lotto tickets in 1994.

I came across one such piece today in Jacob’s Well, a residential village between Woking and Guildford.

Perhaps not surprisingly, a well was chosen, and I thought it looked pretty good in the winter sun.

Cropped and Resized
Overhead telegraph wire cloned out

Duotoned using Pantone Black 7C
Framed using Pantone Cool Gray 1C
