Today, London had the Olympic torch relay, the first time we have seen it in our own city since 1948.
Many communities organised side events, and I chose the happening in Brick Lane, which is a well known Asian neighbourhood not far from the city centre. There was a street carnival there today which was great. The procession was spearheaded by two warrior like people spraying sparks ahead of them. When I get my FILM back, I may well put together a gallery for the event.
The weather was dull and wet, and so my shots of Sharron Davies running with the Olympic torch on Tower Bridge were not that great, but you can see an attempt in my Extras Gallery HERE.
