This is the village hall in the very pleasant Surrey village of Dunsfold. But less than a mile way the sound of burning rubber can be heard when they are filming 'Top Gear' which has used the nearby airfield since 2003.
Dunsfold aerodrome was a major part of Britain's aircraft industry when it assembled the Hawker Hunter, the Harrier as well as the Hawk jet trainer. But the factory closed in 2000 leaving the runway with limited movements. It's future is still uncertain and its use for housing has been talked about for over ten years.
