Sarratt, Hertfordshire

Went to a kind of Family History reunion in this Hertfordshire village today. Anybody descended from John Curd born around 1750 was welcome to attend and about 30 or 40 people came, including some from Los Angeles and Billings, Montana. It was a great meet-up even though there weren’t so many DSLR’s about ;-)

Nobody seems to know the history of the family name, but someone even mentioned a Bute connection. Yikes!

Thought this was Sarratt, 1858. But in Billings, Montana they ride Western, I believe.
