Mr. Hamilton, I was cruising Model Mayhem and I stumbled acrossed some of your work and that brought me here! You are an inspiration for sure! I have been busting my butt trying to figure out all of the technical photography stuff so that I can properly express my self and I see your work....Wow! I had to wipe away a tear and began thinking. (Not in photography terms) You capture more in one photo than what some photographers capture in a whole lifetime!!! Wait--something just came to me!

One of the over-arching themes in your work is a sense of absurdity. You can't register these images quickly and file them away into memory by coding with well-known themes of beauty, truth (sometimes painful), or sarcasm--all are present, but none can *explain* them.

These images appear unextraordinary for only a second, until you to move beyond the first object you see. After that, they challenge you. You can't decide what they are--you are forced to really *think* about them. And it is their incongruity to what you expect that gives them that power. If you are curious enough then you will be forced to contemplate them, and anything that challenges your thinking can lead to change--to growth--in yourself.

And that is what I really love about them. They are, as I said, *brilliant*.

I think your work is *brilliant*. The images confuse, shock and/or unsettle the viewer, and challenge them in a way that few images do. Your idiosyncratic approach is quite appealing and I respect your artistry. I may never be close enough to do a shoot with you, but I definitely hope to see more of your work. Be well.
