This week's assignment is to explore the technique of panning. This requires a reliance on first choosing the correct shutter speed (usually 1/30 - 1/60sec.), and then adjusting the aperature for the correct exposure. The idea is to catch an object in motion while panning to blur the background to show speed. Busy backgrounds tend to make for better photos.
