All three excellent imgaes, Chuck, but let's look a bit closer:

#1: This is a good example of repetition, but a much stronger example of framing in the frame (later lesson).

#2: is excellent and a great job of thinking outside the box. I really like the image fragment repeated using a soft version of the entire subject. an excellent Photo of the Week!!

#3: is a remarkable image, but is a much stronger example of three/thirds because the subjects are all on the same visual plane. You need the element of depth to illustrate the concept of repetition.
