North Yorkshire from the Air

On Sunday 4 December 2005 Sue and I did some flying over North Yorkshire, We departed Teesside and flow south to Helmsley and then East to the coast via Pickering. We then flew along the cost via Scarborough and Whitby back to Teesside. The weather was variable with patches of sunlight and then rain showers as I landed.
Because the images had very low contrast (that's often true of aerial photography) I enhanced the contrast in Photoshop.

These are really beautiful images. I'm an artist doing a ground based project about a Drover's route between Wharfedale and Nidderdale, but I've been thinking more and more about flying over the landscape before painting. Are you interested to fly me? I'm an artist, so probably couldn't pay a high fee, but a painting of your choice would certainly be available! Summer 2006?
