memorial-day probably the reason she can smile

I'll have to say that after the rally today we went to the lake.
We had a great time with family.
After I got home i started thinking about seeing several WWII age men along the motorcycle
parade route who saluted us as we went by.
Seemed really incongruent,if you know what I mean.
That is,however, how that generation is.
Putting others before themselves
Respect still means something to them.

I mean
They were saluting us for riding in a tribute to them.
Hell(pardon the french,it is for emphasis)half the riders were drunk!! and not thinking anything about Memorial Day
Please remember what this holiday is for.
If you have the time
NO why don't you TAKE the time and watch this

or just make sure you explain what it is and means to it your kids.
We are taking the kids ,in the morning,to put flowers on a fallen soldiers grave

Must have been a fun event despite the circumstances.

Amen and thanks for the link. My eyes are swollen now. We don't think our service men and women enough!
