Doing what she does best.
Loving!!!

Walker had a recital Saturday.
After many hours at the keyboard,and many arguments that put them both on the verge of tears.
She was persistant , consistant,loving,teaching,PATIENT and to repeat the most important one
Unconditionally loving.


Above is her watching Walker play. He did good,but not as well as he could have had he practiced more.

Watching her watching him was very eye-opening. She felt every bad note as it it were her fault.

He got a ribbon,and was really happy until he found out the top 3 got trophies.
Next came the tears and complaining about not getting a trophy.
My gut instinct was to point out to him his lack of preparation/practice,as his mom had asked of him.
Before I could blurt it out , she was there with encouragement,
and a lesson that maybe next time more practice could get him that prize.
Then she hugged him, and consoled him, and told him how great a son he was!!

Cristi you are a Great lady,mom and wife.
What a balance you are to my child rearing methods.

We LOVE YOU MOM!!!
