This is from a few days ago(see hail angel)
I drove to, and then into a lightning storm yo try for some lightning pics.
Blinding rain followed by high winds,then the dreaded golf ball on metal sound.
I ,of course, had taken Cristi's car for the gps and just drove up this dirt/mud road
to try anything to get out of the hail.Drove into a stand of pine trees and had to sit and wait it out.
First time I have ever regretted going for the dangerous shot. I was pretty worried for awhile , as I watched the radar(that is my Iphone and it had almost realtime radar)and that made me feel worse.
The lighting was from lightning about a strike every 2-3 seconds

Went back here the next day,saw 40ft pines on the ground and what looked like a tornado playground.
All that and the above shot is the only photo I got of the storm.
Good thing God protects the innocent and STUPID
